Additional projects I worked on, but not shown here include The Mage's Tale and The Bard's Tale IV
from InXile Entertainment and Breakaway from Amazon Game Studios.

This is a small sample of effects I created for Firefall while working at Red 5 Studios.
The Energy Drone effects on the bottom row were just experimental prototype effects I created.

All were rendered in the Firefall engine.

The following are in-game effects I created in the UDK engine.
These were made to illustrate ideas within a technical budget, not as final work.

Each effect is contained in a single particle emitter and within the following budgetary constraints:
700 Particles and emitted mesh - 1000 Tris - 1024*1024 Texture space || No lights were used.

These are the first of a series of cinematic quality in-game effects made in UDK.

The entire effect, including all of the timing, is fully contained within a single particle emitter.

These are just a small handful of the in-game effects I created during my years on the Cinematics team at Blizzard Entertainment.
Many of these were only made for the purpose of testing a certain look, or seeing how far the engine could be pushed.

These effects were all rendered in World of Warcraft.

Lastly, these are some of the most recent projects from my previous team on Blizzard Cinematics that I worked on. These are great
examples of the vastly improved quality of WoW's in-game cinematics. It was a huge honor to be part of such a talented team of folks.
